A Raw Diet for your Pet

A raw diet allows cats and dogs to eat a more natural diet, similar to the way animals in the wild hunt prey and eat it raw. Cooking pet food kills a wide assortment of vitamins and enzymes. Pet digestive system , advocates say, they did not evolve to handle the corn, grains, flour and other fillers often aded to high processed pet foods.

"What people confuse is that "carnivore" really means animal eater, not muscle-meat eater," said Dr. Buffington. "In nature, they're eating all the guts and the bones and the rest of the animals, all of which supplies their nutrient needs. That's confused more commonly than one might imagine." So don't think you can just give your dog some chicken breast! Don't forget to add a couple of veggies.
